About the Authors

Paul B. Brown photoPaul B. Brown is the author of 16 books, including the international bestseller Customers for Life, written with Carl Sewell, which has been translated into 16 languages and has sold more than 1 million copies.

A former writer and editor for Business Week, Forbes and Inc., Mr. Brown writes the “What's Offline” column every Saturday in The New York Times and the “Off-the-shelf” column for the Sunday business section of the paper.

In addition to his work on Your Attention, Please, Mr. Brown has recently co-authored The Entrepreneurial Imperative with Carl Schramm (Collins, October 2006), which will be the basis of a three-part PBS series, and The Art of War for Women with Chin-Ning Chu (Doubleday/Currency, spring 2007).

He received his B.A. from Rutgers College, where he was a Henry Rutgers Senior Honors Research Scholar, and his J.D. from the Rutgers School of Law.

She earned her B.A. from Douglass College, Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.
